Activities underpinned by a business philosophy which holds that institutions have a responsibility to consider social factors in their business plans and make explicit both the business and personal imperative for establishing mechanisms to achieve an appropriate balance between career development, work responsibilities, and family, social and community responsibilities, to the mutual advantage of individuals and employers.
